Full Manuscript Assessment

Your manuscript will be returned within a nominated timeframe, with comments written on the pages of text, and accompanied by a detailed multi-page report. If it’s a work of fiction, we provide feedback on structure, character description and development, motivation and believability, viewpoint, conflict, dialogue, setting, emotion, tone, theme and plotting. In a work of non-fiction we also determine whether the document fulfils its purpose, if there is a need for additional material such as an introduction, glossary or index, or whether the content needs rearranging into more logical order. This service is not a copy edit; however, if there are consistent editing problems (grammar, spelling or punctuation), we will point out a few so you know what to correct. At Cre8ive Words we use Wiley’s Style manual for authors, editors and printers as our editing “bible”.
